PT SDE invested USD 300 million to build this underground coal mine. Since the construction phase in 2021, until now investment will continue to be placed into the future. Based on feasibility studies and environmental documents, PT SDE has a maximum coal production capacity of up to 20 million tons per year. “This is what makes PT SDE the largest underground coal mine in Indonesia,” he said.
